Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain firmware for microcontroller-based systems in a hands-on role at our North Syracuse facility.

The position focuses on embedded C code, hardware/software integration, and product-line improvements. You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, and test teams to move concepts into production, debug hardware and firmware, and contribute to new product development.

Formación

• Hands-on embedded C firmware experience required for microcontroller-based systems.
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, interrupts, timers, peripherals, and hardware interfaces.
• Experience developing and debugging bare-metal embedded firmware.
• Ability to troubleshoot interactions between firmware and hardware.
• Comfortable explaining past embedded projects and solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware using C for microcontroller-based systems.
• Develop firmware for 8-, 16-, and 32-bit MCUs.
• Create control logic for sensors, switches, relays, motors, and other components.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on product development and troubleshooting.
• Debug hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes and lab equipment.
• Contribute to new product development, testing, and validation.
• Troubleshoot existing products and support continuous improvement.
