This position will be embedded within multiple data centers to provide ongoing maintenance and repair of electronic security devices and door hardware. Focusing on live building environments, technicians will be working alongside client personnel, external vendors, and their clients. A successful Embedded Electronic Security Technician can work independently, with minimal supervision, provide daily updates of ticket work performed, and reach out to his team manager for support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute, track, and update ticket assignments.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of general access control systems. Genetec, Lenel, and Mercury knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Effectively utilize diagnostic tools, such as a Multimeter, Line Toner, Cable Tester, etc.
• Utilize boom and scissor lift equipment and/or platform ladders on a daily basis.
• Skills/experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to be creative and resourceful in obtaining solutions to uncommon applications.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team atmosphere.
• Strong organization skills, time management, and attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
