Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a Contract role in Bellevue, WA. Ideal candidate has a solid background in Embedded C development on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and experience with USB-C / USB-PD.

You will bring up new PCBs, debug firmware with oscilloscopes and SWD/JTAG, and collaborate with hardware teams to validate power, clocks, and peripherals. The role emphasizes hands-on firmware development and debugging in a hardware-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Embedded C development on ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
• USB-C / USB-PD experience.
• Hardware bring-up and PCB debugging.
• I2C, SPI, and UART peripheral interfacing and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Bring up new PCBs, validate power/clocks, and enable peripherals.
• Develop and debug embedded C firmware on ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
• Configure I2C/SPI/UART and drive companion ICs.
• Debug with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, SWD/JTAG.
• Document configurations and collaborate with hardware engineers.
