Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer specializing in EGPWS/Embedded C/C++ to design, develop, and maintain aerospace software. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure DO-178 compliant processes are followed while contributing to safe and efficient aviation solutions.

The role requires at least 4 years in software engineering, aerospace/avionics experience, and strong C/C++ skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Engineering/Development.
• Expertise in C/C++ embedded engineering and design in an aerospace/avionics environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for aerospace systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Support embedded software development using C++ code.
• Follow established processes and guidelines to support project software lifecycle for the projects assigned to DO-178.
• Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Travel: up to 10%.
• Relocation support may be provided.
