Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE, CSE, or related field.
• 1–5 years in embedded software, test, or validation; strong grads considered.
• Agentic coding in C, C++ and Python to read, debug, and modify embedded firmware.
• Test automation or data analysis experience.
• Hands-on with lab equipment: power supplies, meters, scopes, logic analyzers.
• Able to read schematics and datasheets or eager to learn.
• Willing to learn high-voltage safety and work around HV battery systems.
• Onsite in Carlsbad, CA.
• Able to travel internationally up to 2 weeks, 1–2 times a year.

Aufgaben

• Run BMS and vehicle control system test benches, including battery emulation and high‑voltage fixtures.
• Write and run test procedures against Vehicle requirements.
• Automate bench tests in Python.
• Validate calibration data (limit tables, derating curves, protection thresholds).
• Track down hardware and software faults with scopes, logic analyzers, and bus captures.
• Inform and fix BMS and vehicle control code in C/C++, with peer review and tests.
• Assist in validating HV protection such as contactors, precharge, interlocks, isolation monitoring.
• Bring up new circuit boards and support vehicle integration and end‑of‑line testing.
