Job summary

Wayve is seeking an Embedded C++ Engineer to join its Automotive Platforms team. You’ll design and implement high-performance C++ systems for the Wayve Driver core and platform-adaptation layers, targeting embedded hardware such as NVIDIA and Qualcomm platforms.

You will develop on embedded Linux, QNX, and similar RTOS, and work across reference platforms and Wayve’s internal fleet. Collaboration spans Israel, the UK and the US, with a hybrid work model in place.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing high-performance production systems in modern C++.
• Experience developing application or middleware software on embedded Linux, QNX or another RTOS.
• Understanding of middleware architectures and IPC mechanisms.
• Experience in automotive, autonomous driving or robotics, including sensor integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern C++17/20 software for Wayve Driver core and platform-adaptation apps.
• Develop embedded application/middleware software on Linux, QNX and other RTOS.
• Integrate and validate the autonomy stack on automotive reference platforms and Wayve’s fleet.
• Profile, debug and improve performance across app, middleware and OS boundaries.
• Own features end to end from design to testing and production support.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across Israel, the UK and the US.
