Job summary
Ashly Audio, a division of JAM Industries, seeks a full-time firmware engineer to design and maintain firmware for advanced network audio amplifiers and DSPs. You will contribute to remote-control devices and collaborate with a friendly, innovative team dedicated to audio technology.
This role emphasizes high reliability, embedded Linux work, and cross-functional cooperation with engineers and support staff, in a remote-friendly, team-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with C/C++ and embedded software design.
- Experience with embedded Linux firmware development is highly desired.
- Knowledge of Node.js, SQLite, and ZeroMQ is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Develop bare metal or RTOS firmware for complex embedded systems requiring high reliability.
- Develop backend and middleware firmware for embedded Linux platforms.
- Assist with peripheral interface electronics design and related circuits.
- Maintain coding standards with clear naming, comments and diagrams.
- Define test plans and help create test automation for releases.
- Collaborate with engineers to meet system integration requirements.
- Assist technical support in investigating and fixing issues.
