Job summary

Ashly Audio, a division of JAM Industries, seeks a talented DSP Engineer to design and implement DSP software across multiple hardware and software platforms. You will optimize performance, evaluate platform options, and maintain DSP firmware to ensure consistent audio quality across the product portfolio.

The role offers collaboration in a innovative, team-oriented environment with opportunities to contribute to embedded systems, firmware, and audio networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE or equivalent required.
• Strong DSP knowledge including adaptive filtering.
• Experience with SHARC processors and assembly.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB/Octave.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Able to communicate clearly and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Port and optimize DSP algorithms across hardware platforms.
• Maintain DSP firmware for legacy architectures.
• Design new DSP algorithms to improve audio quality and performance.
• Assist with embedded hardware design related to DSP systems.
• Contribute to system integration and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and QA teams to troubleshoot DSP issues.
