Embedded Audio Firmware Engineer (Linux Audio) – $150,000 - $250,000 + Bonus + Health benefits + 401k + Progression opportunities. Remote or on-site in Austin, Texas.

Are you an Embedded Audio Firmware Engineer with Linux Audio expertise looking for the chance to lead greenfield development on an exciting first-generation hardware product at a well-established music technology company?

This role would suit an experienced Embedded Audio Firmware Engineer looking for technical ownership and the chance to build something brand new in a supportive, people-focused environment.

The Role

• Develop and maintain high-performance audio applications and libraries for Embedded Linux
• Work on audio routing, processing, networking, and low-level driver components
• Contribute to a greenfield hardware product

The Candidate

• Experience with embedded Linux audio systems
• Experienced with ALSA and ideally Pipewire
• Background in low-level/firmware development on audio-centric products
