Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced SSE Embedded Code Engineer to design and validate ASIC device drivers and test cases in C/C++ within Zephyr RTOS or Linux kernel environments. You’ll build Python-based automation frameworks and collaborate with teams in Austin and Sweden to ensure high-quality silicon validation.

The role requires hands-on lab work, platform management, and cross-functional communication, with a hybrid work model and on-site presence three days per week in Austin, Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of development experience with C/C++ and Python, focused on hardware validation and embedded software.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and bash scripting.
• Hands-on validation experience with lab equipment, test coverage strategies, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate ASIC device drivers and test cases in C/C++ within Zephyr RTOS or Linux kernel frameworks.
• Develop Python-based framework and infrastructure to support run environments and automation.
• Assess test coverage, conduct in-lab testing, and improve validation methodologies.
