Job summary

Zenity embeds with a strategic partner, delivering AI agent security inside the customer's environment. The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer gathers real requirements, designs tailored solutions, and owns end-to-end outcomes from deployment to maturity.

You'll operate onsite with the customer's security team, translating needs into concrete engineering work, and collaborating with the account's Customer Success Manager to land guidance across the partnership.

Qualifications

• Strong technical fundamentals for hands-on design and configuration.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and impose structure on complex problems.
• Experience as a customer-facing engineer in deployment or consulting.
• Proven track record building systems, integrations or relationships.
• Comfort representing Zenity onsite with a customer team.
• Background in cybersecurity, cloud security, governance or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience building AI-powered applications or governance tooling.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements in the field directly with the customer's security team.
• Customize and configure solutions for the customer's workflow.
• Integrate Zenity with the customer’s data, APIs, and identity patterns.
• Test, troubleshoot, and iterate with the customer, sometimes live.
• Feed learnings back into the core product to shape roadmap.
• Own the outcome end to end from initial ask to successful deployment.
• Lead customer in best practices for AI security with the CS Manager.
