Job summary

Dex seeks a forward-deployed AI engineer to own end-to-end deployments for major insurance carriers, from scoping to go-live, and to design multi-modal agentic AI systems. You will work hands-on with APIs, cloud platforms, and AI tooling while communicating outcomes to senior stakeholders.

You will act as the primary technical contact for clients, translating AI capabilities into business value and feeding insights into the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a forward-deployed, agent engineering, or founding role.
• Proven ability to ship production-grade Python code with APIs & cloud.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI.
• Translate technical solutions into business outcomes for executives.
• Founder’s mindset with end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI deployments for major insurance carriers, from scoping to go-live.
• Design, build, and evolve multi-modal agentic AI systems with prompt engineering and model integration.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for senior client stakeholders, translating AI capabilities into business outcomes.
• Collaborate with client tech teams to integrate AI solutions via APIs and custom environments.
• Scope and develop new features based on client needs, feeding insights into the core product roadmap.
