Job summary

LangChain is seeking a Deployed Engineer to join our Professional Services team, working directly with enterprise customers to build reliable, production agents. You’ll translate vague workflows into concrete specs and guide engineering teams, or build solutions for them.

You may design an agent architecture or co-build an evaluation pipeline with their engineers. You are experienced with production AI systems and can defend technical tradeoffs while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production agent systems.
• Strong client-facing communication skills for architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Advising: agent architecture design and evaluation strategy.
• Building: co-build with customer engineering teams across the ADLC.
• Embedding: work inside the customer team to ship agent systems.
• Agent Engineering: end-to-end ADLC, architecture, patterns, and production deployment.
• Applied AI: post-training, fine-tuning, evaluation methods.
