Job summary

LangChain is seeking a Deployed Engineer to join the Professional Services team, working directly with enterprise customers to build reliable, production agents. You’ll translate complex workflows into concrete software specs and guide engineering teams, or build it for them.

You may design an agent architecture or spend weeks co-building an evaluation pipeline, embedded inside customer teams. You are someone who has built real AI systems for production and can defend technical tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with Python and production-grade delivery.
• 2+ years building and shipping production agent systems.
• Strong client-facing communication and the ability to explain architectural decisions to engineers and CTOs.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph/Deep Agents or similar multi-agent frameworks.
• Experience designing evaluation methodologies for non-deterministic AI systems.
• Comfortable working across advisory to embedded delivery.

Responsibilities

• Advising on agent architecture design and evaluation strategy.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams across the full Agent Development Lifecycle.
• Embed as a deployed engineer inside customer teams to ship agent systems.
• Oversee end-to-end ADLC architecture, orchestration patterns, evals, and production deployment.
• Apply post-training techniques and evaluation methods to improve agents.
