Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking an Associate Designer, Email to support digital marketing with a focus on Email and SMS. You will deliver brand-elevated designs through typography, design and photography, ensuring email content is customer-focused and aligned with brand standards.

This is an on-site role in Northbrook, IL (Monday–Thursday) with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. You will collaborate with the Sr Art Director, design leads, and cross-functional teams to uphold the brand

Qualifications

• Strong visual design skills with ability to execute under direction
• Keen eye for typography and aesthetic quality
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; MovableInk a plus
• Light HTML knowledge is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative approach
• Bachelor’s degree in Design required

Responsibilities

• Execute creative projects for digital channels, including Email and SMS
• Collaborate with design leads and external teams to uphold brand identity
• Build cross-functional relationships and communicate daily with internal teams
• Approach design from a user-centered perspective
• Manage projects with schedule constraints and quick turn-arounds
• Contribute to development of best practices and tools to optimize efficiency
