Job summary

CB2 in Chicago, IL is seeking a Designer, Digital Marketing to push creative boundaries across Email and E-commerce Marketing. The role extends to all marketing channels, with opportunities to engage in store openings, photoshoots, and product launches.

The position is on-site in our Chicago office (Mon-Thu) with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays, offering collaboration with internal teams on campaigns and brand elevating design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant design experience; retail experience a plus.
• Experience designing for email and understanding of email design best practices.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Strong typography and graphic design skills bridging customer and business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present design decisions.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create elevated email designs that are customer-focused and support strategy.
• Assist Senior Art Director on design, presentation and photography concepts for Email and digital creatives.
• Assist with planning and supporting photography art direction.
• Define and deliver email designs that drive sales and engagement.
• Collaborate with Production Designer on final design executions.
• Collaborate with design leads and external teams to uphold/elevate the brand identity.
• Build cross-functional relationships and interact daily with internal teams on email and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Consistently approach design projects from a user-centered perspective.
• Manage projects while working within schedule requirements.
