Yoh is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to support the day-to-day production and execution of high-volume email campaigns from the Washington, DC area. This 4-month contract may extend or convert based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities include building, formatting, and deploying mobile-optimized emails, managing dozens of campaigns monthly, and coordinating with stakeholders using Jira.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in email marketing or digital campaign production.
• Experience in a large, high-volume corporate or media environment with tight deadlines.
• Associate degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

• Build, format, and deploy mobile-optimized email campaigns and newsletters.
• Manage ~10 campaigns at various stages while supporting ~70 campaigns per month.
• Edit email content, images, banners, metadata, and minor HTML.
• Schedule deployments and coordinate launch details across stakeholders.
• Insert and format banners and supporting creatives in emails.
• QA testing for content, links, tracking, and rendering across devices.
• Develop and distribute proofs for stakeholder review and approval.
• Execute A/B testing on subject lines and CTAs.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Track assignments and deadlines using Jira or similar tools.
• Follow best practices, brand standards, and privacy requirements.

Job description

Yoh has an exciting opportunity for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our global media and entertainment client. This role will support the day-to-day production and execution of high-volume email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional communications, advertising initiatives, holiday campaigns, and international campaigns. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in email marketing or digital campaign production, with strong attention to detail, hands-on experience formatting emails, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Title: Email Marketing Specialist

Compensation: $30-35/hr

Type: 4 Month Contract with ability to extend or Convert

Location: Washington, DC area

Key Responsibilities

• Build, format, and deploy mobile-optimized email campaigns, newsletters, promotional communications, and automated email sequences.
• Manage approximately 10 campaigns at various stages of development while supporting a high-volume team producing approximately 70 campaigns and projects per month.
• Edit email content, images, banners, metadata, and minor HTML to ensure campaigns meet established quality and formatting standards.
• Schedule email deployments and coordinate launch details across multiple stakeholders.
• Insert and format promotional banners and supporting creative within email communications.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to verify accurate content, links, tracking parameters, metadata, and rendering across desktop and mobile devices.
• Develop and distribute campaign proofs for stakeholder review, feedback, and approval.
• Execute A/B testing on subject lines, calls to action, send times, and other campaign elements.
• Monitor campaign progress and communicate updates, risks, and required actions to project stakeholders.
• Manage assignments, deadlines, approvals, and project status using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Follow email marketing best practices, brand standards, privacy requirements, and applicable email marketing regulations.
• Support occasional time-sensitive or breaking-news email deployments as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in email marketing, digital campaign production, marketing operations, or a related field.
• Experience working in a large, high-volume corporate or media environment with tight deadlines.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of email marketing platforms and campaign management tools, such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar technologies.
• Experience with email formatting, minor HTML editing, and HTML coding concepts.
• Familiarity with Photoshop or similar tools for editing and preparing digital assets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Jira or comparable project management software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and work independently after training.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in the Washington, DC area and remotely on Fridays.
• Flexibility to support occasional off-hours or time-sensitive campaign deployments.

Estimated Min Rate: $24.84

Estimated Max Rate: $35.48
