Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist for a long-term contract. This role focuses on planning and executing email campaigns via Marketo, collaborating with Product and Channel Marketing teams, and serving as a power user of the marketing automation system.

Primary duties include administering Marketo programs, translating marketing requirements, and maintaining data hygiene to ensure efficient, compliant campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Email Marketing campaign management and execution using Marketo.
• Proven experience using HTML and CSS.
• Bonus skills: Salesforce CRM and A/B testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers the marketing automation system, including execution of email programs, to ensure efficiency, data quality, and accurate campaign flows.
• Partners with account teams to translate marketing requirements to create functional campaigns within marketing automation and CRM systems.
• Ensures all programs support best practices and benchmark results for communications quantity and frequency to avoid prospect/customer fatigue.
• Analyzes operational process to determine and implement new efficiencies.
• Manages email reputation and performance to ensure best practices are maintained.
• Ensures data hygiene standards are maintained, including importing, exporting, updating, and cleansing data, as needed, to ensure quality.
• Implements advanced marketing automation system features to improve email contribution to pipeline and revenue.
• Provides documentation and training to support end users.

The Email Marketing Specialist plans and executes email campaigns through the use of the Marketo marketing automation system. Works closely with Product and Channel Marketing teams, as well as Enterprise Communications, in the planning and implementation of all marketing automation projects. Serves as a power user of the marketing automation system.

Job Duties:

Administers the marketing automation system, including execution of email programs, to ensure efficiency, data quality, and accurate campaign flows. 20%

Partners with account teams to translate marketing requirements to create functional campaigns within marketing automation and CRM systems. 20%

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
