Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District 10J seeks a part-time Teacher - ELL for Powell Valley Elementary School to develop ELL proficiency and support access to grade-level instruction across content areas. The role is 0.70 FTE on a 192/193 day contract.

The ELL teacher will implement district-approved curriculum, assess progress, collaborate with families and staff, and provide a safe, engaging classroom environment to foster language development.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication with diverse students and families.
• Knowledge of English language development and ESOL strategies.
• Ability to plan instruction and assess student progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop English language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Deliver instruction using district-approved curriculum and build a positive learning environment.
