Qualifications

• State of Oregon Teaching License with Elementary Multiple Subjects PK-12 endorsement, and current First Aid Card.
• Must be fully bilingual and biliterate in English/Spanish.
• ESOL endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches a full range of elementary subjects including reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, PE, and health following district goals and standards.
• Instructs students in literacy, numeracy and general course concepts per state law and district policies.
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized and small group instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Leads assessment of student work samples and monitors progress and outcomes.
• Maintains student safety and a positive learning environment; communicates with parents and prepares reports.
