Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District is seeking an Educational Assistant - ELL at Gresham High School. The role provides instruction and supervision for English language learner students under licensed staff, with clerical tasks and language support for teachers.

Work is 6 hours per day across 187 days per year. Starting around September 2, 2026, with a current posting date of August 13, 2026. Salary ranges from $22.29 to $30.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with school age children is preferred.
• Associate degree or higher is required.
• Knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in assessment, curriculum support and student interactions.
• Provide instructional support in large, small and one‑on‑one settings.
• Record language progress and maintain student files in the primary language.
• Translate verbal and written communication for staff, students and families.
• Support positive interpersonal relationships among students and staff.
