Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Health Registered Nurse in Elko, NV. You will provide clinical care at our Health Center, with scheduled hours 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday and one weekend per month. You will perform EKGs, audiometry, spirometry, vision testing, administer meds, and coordinate care for injured workers.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• AS nursing degree or equivalent required; BSN preferred.
• COHN/COHN-S certification preferred.
• Current BLS (and ACLS if contract scope requires) is required.
• Minimum 3 years as RN in occupational health/clinic.
• Experience promoting healthy, safe workplaces and return-to-work exams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within scope of practice.
• Deliver evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate case management.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care as permitted.
• Maintain equipment, infection control and patient records; ensure clean environment.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments on health programs.
• Assist with accident investigations and return-to-work initiatives.
