Job summary

Premise Health in Elko, NV seeks a Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to care for employees at our Health Center. The role supports Walk-In/Acute Care with rotating 4x10 shifts, including weekends.

You will conduct exams, manage care plans, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes. The position requires state NP/RN licenses, prescriptive authority, DEA license, and 3+ years of ambulatory or family practice experience.

Qualifications

• Maintains state RN licenses and NP licenses to practice.
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority and DEA license as applicable.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• Minimum three years of NP clinical experience in ambulatory, family practice, or urgent care settings.
• Basic Life Support required; ACLS may be required per contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
