Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility and material handling equipment. The role supports safe, efficient warehouse operations through troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and coordination with outside contractors.

The technician serves as SME for equipment improvements and assists with facility projects while maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical functions of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications or able to become proficient within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance work in and around the plant.
• Make repairs and replace parts on mechanical equipment.
• Replace lights, lighting equipment, plumbing and other facility maintenance items.
• Point of contact for outside contractors and vendors on facility maintenance.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance for packaging equipment, conveyors, dock doors/locks, and material handling equipment.
• Assist with continuous improvement teams as SME for equipment.
• Assist with building items needed for projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair battery chargers.
• Ability to operate warehouse and material handling equipment following required training and certification.
