Job summary

Rheem seeks a Master Mechanic Tech to provide electrical and mechanical maintenance leadership for the Montgomery Water Heating Division. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to keep production flowing.

The candidate should have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, an associate degree preferred, and the ability to operate forklifts along with standard tools and measurement devices. A signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Able to use a PC with maintenance software and MS Office.
• Forklift operationAbility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance foremen and coordinate shift activities.
• Develop procedures and ensure compliance with policies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and directives for maintenance work.
• Plan cross-plant coordination to optimize operations.
• Ensure materials and tools are available for schedules.
• Control costs, safety, housekeeping, and equipment condition.
• Lead improvement projects and report progress to management.
• Foster good employee relations and handle grievances.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams on projects.
