Job summary

The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center is seeking a VIP Transportation Specialist to provide safe, discreet, and highly personalized transport for VIP guests and other designated clients. The role emphasizes hospitality, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail across all journeys.

Working on an on-call basis, you will coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Security to ensure timely pickups, assist with luggage, maintain vehicle readiness, and uphold privacy

Qualifications

• Prior professional driving or luxury transportation experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to satisfy all driving eligibility requirements and background checks.
• Strong grooming and professional appearance.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest-service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Knowledge of local airports and transportation routes.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, personalized transportation for VIP guests.
• Transport between the hotel, airports, restaurants, meetings, events, and other destinations.
• Monitor flight schedules, traffic conditions, weather, and other factors affecting plans.
• Arrive before pickup times and adapt to itinerary changes.
• Polished arrival/departure experience with luggage assistance and coordination with hotel teams.
• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
• Protect guest privacy and refrain from discussing guest identities or plans.
• Anticipate guest needs and personalize the transportation experience.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Guest Relations, Security, and leadership for seamless arrivals/departures.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled/charged, and ready for service; perform pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain trip logs, mileage records, and vehicle documentation.
• Respond calmly to delays, emergencies, and unexpected changes.
