Qualifications

• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Substantial knowledge of the sport's technical aspects and ongoing learning.
• Ability to serve as a positive role model for student athletes.
• Proven coaching experience at the high school level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamentals, strategy and conditioning for individual and team success.
• Coordinate with athletic director and principals, and supervise staff of coaches.
• Ensure compliance with district policies, state and league regulations.
• Organize practices, games, transportation, and administrative duties.
• Promote sportsmanship, character development, and student safety.
• Mentor student managers and assist in athlete college guidance.
