Job summary

Tower Hill School in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Varsity Squash Head Coach for the 2026-2027 academic year to lead a competitive boys and girls program. The role includes coaching, team management, and oversight of sub-varsity, plus coordinating the squash coaching staff and contributing to admission functions.

Candidates should have 3+ years of coaching experience at high school, club, or college levels and demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and a commitment to inclusive

Qualifications

• Three or more years of previous squash coaching experience at the high school, club, and/or college level.
• Well organized and effective communication skills.
• Ability to mentor student athletes and serve as a positive role model.
• Strong collaboration skills with fellow coaches and administrators.
• Ability to promote and generate excitement for the sport of squash.
• Support of student athletes’ efforts to pursue additional athletic opportunities at Tower Hill.
• Providing outreach to prospective student athletes.
• Assisting in supporting student athletes in the college recruiting process if they have the desire to compete at the next level.
• Attendance at all required professional development opportunities.
• Completing and/or assisting with all administrative coaching duties pertaining to practices and competitions, including equipment, uniforms, attendance, roster management, travel logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee varsity and sub-varsity squash program and coordinate coaching staff.
• Manage practices, competitions, travel logistics, equipment, uniforms, and roster administration.
• Contribute to admission-related activities and assist with college recruiting when needed.
