Qualifications

• Organize and supervise a total sports program as head coach.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport (major sports).
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and willingness to update theories and methods.
• Serve as a positive role model for student athletes through instruction and example.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for individual and team success.
• Upgrade knowledge through coaching clinics, observations and consultation.
• Coordinate and support staff with the athletic director and principals.
• Ensure discipline, safety and effective program operation across the sports program.
