Job summary

D2 Government Solutions seeks a STAR Tactics Survival EMT Instructor for the National Air Training Center in Oklahoma City. The role entails delivering advanced tactical and survival training to CBP/AMO personnel in classroom, field, and scenario settings.

Responsibilities include developing lessons, leading diverse training activities, and ensuring safety and compliance with program requirements. Strong certifications in EMT/paramedic or related areas are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in advanced tactical law-enforcement instruction.
• Certification in EMT/paramedic, firearms instruction, tactical operations, survival training, or related law-enforcement training.
• Ability to conduct classroom and field instruction in realistic training environments.
• Maintain required certifications and work at the assigned CBP/AMO duty location.
• Strong safety discipline and ability to coach adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced law-enforcement tactics, survival, and emergency medical training in classroom, field, and scenario-based environments.
• Teach tactical decision-making, situational awareness, defensive preparedness, and practical skills relevant to CBP/AMO missions.
• Lead or support firearms, active-threat, wilderness, maritime/water survival, CPR, trauma-response, and related emergency-response training.
• Develop, revise, and maintain lesson plans, training aids, scenarios, practical exercises, study guides, and exams with Government program managers and SMEs.
• Conduct hands-on training exercises while maintaining student, role-player, and instructor safety.
• Evaluate student performance, provide individual and group feedback, and support remediation when needed.
• Maintain training equipment, training inventory, certifications, and current knowledge of tactical, medical, and survival best practices.
