Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Student Performance Strategist to diagnose blockers, set ambitious growth targets, and coach K-12 students to elite levels. You will deliver high-touch, data-driven coaching and life-skills workshops on Alpha’s highest-expectation campuses.

You will read the room, set the tone each morning, and guide students and families with consistent motivation plans, while prioritizing student impact over traditional teaching. Relocation support provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Demonstrated exceptional achievement in a highly selective domain.
• At least 3 years of coaching/mentoring experience with youth.
• Ability to design and deliver multiweek life-skills workshops with clear progression.
• Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in the US.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive motivation, growth, and life-skill mastery at Alpha campuses.
• Run 1-on-1 and small-group coaching using progress data to diagnose blockers and set goals.
• Lead structured life-skills workshops and assess mastery via Alpha's system.
• Set daily culture through focused morning kicks and high-performance expectations.
• Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families with consistent motivation plans.
