Job summary

The University of Oregon is seeking a Sports Science Coordinator within the Intercollegiate Athletics department. You will develop performance support strategies and lead systems to enhance readiness, performance, and recovery for student-athletes.

This role operates within a multi-disciplinary high-performance environment, integrating with weight-room, conditioning, and practice activities. Responsible for promoting the department’s philosophy, adherence to policies, and compliance with NCAA

Qualifications

Master’s degree in sport and exercise science or related field.
Two years of professional experience providing applied sports science services in collegiate, professional, or elite athletics.
Experience operating and managing sports science technologies and data analysis tools including SmartaBase (Teamworks), R, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

Develop performance support strategies across the University of Oregon Athletic Department.
Lead development and execution of systems to enhance student-athlete readiness, performance, and recovery.
Embed monitoring systems within weight room, conditioning, and practice sessions and collaborate within a high-performance team.
