Job summary

This role operates within a multi-disciplinary high-performance environment, integrating with weight-room, conditioning, and practice activities. Responsible for promoting the department’s philosophy, adherence to policies, and compliance with NCAA

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in sport and exercise science or related field.
  • Two years of professional experience providing applied sports science services in collegiate, professional, or elite athletics.
  • Experience operating and managing sports science technologies and data analysis tools including SmartaBase (Teamworks), R, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop performance support strategies across the University of Oregon Athletic Department.
  • Lead development and execution of systems to enhance student-athlete readiness, performance, and recovery.
  • Embed monitoring systems within weight room, conditioning, and practice sessions and collaborate within a high-performance team.
