Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Possess a current valid driver's license.
• Carry and use a firearm; firearm proficiency mandatory.
• Be at least 21 and less than 37 at the time of conditional offer, with applicable age provisions.
• Top Secret Clearance required.
• Uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100 binocular; corrected 20/20 per eye.
• Hearing limits: 25 decibels in specified ranges.
• Drug test prior to appointment and random testing.
• Complete 13 weeks at FLETC, plus 18 weeks at Rowley Training Center.
• Mobility agreement to accept assignments nationwide and overseas.
• Register with Selective Service or exemption if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Providing protection for various protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States.
• Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.
