Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Performance Dietitian to provide guidance on nutrition to enhance recovery and optimize performance for SOF personnel. The role includes counseling, program design, and collaboration with dining facilities in garrison, TDY, and deployed settings.

Requirements include US citizenship, a Master’s in Nutrition Science, RD with ADA and CSSD (CSSD within six months), active state licensure, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition Science or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with ADA and CSSD certification; CSSD to be earned within six months if not already.
• Current and valid state licensure.
• Experience as a Performance Dietitian with athletes at NCAA/Olympic/professional/SOF levels; 3+ years preferred.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.
• Ability to meet physical demands, lift up to 25 kg, and work in austere environments.
• Maintain BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative nutrition services within scope.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition counseling and documentation.
• Advise command on nutrition and performance issues.
• Develop and implement performance nutrition programs for SOF in garrison, TDY, and deployed settings.
• Assist dining facility and galley nutrition and coordinate with food service and command.
• Maintain records in Military EHR (AHLTA, MHS GENESIS) and HP databases.
