Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Special Operations Performance Dietitian to provide nutrition guidance for SOF personnel, enhancing recovery and performance. The role includes counseling, program design for garrison and deployed settings, and collaboration with HP managers to implement new protocols.

Candidates should hold an RD with CSSD or be eligible for CSSD within six months. Must have US citizenship, ability to obtain a secret clearance, and 3+ years as a Performance Dietitian with athletes or SOF

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition Science or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with CSSD certification preferred; CSSD to be earned within six months.
• Current and valid state licensure.
• Minimum 3 years as a Performance Dietitian with athletes/SOF settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional planning, counseling, and documentation guided by evidence-based literature.
• Advise command on nutrition and performance issues.
• Develop protocols and guidelines for rehabilitation and performance.
• Design nutrition programs for SOF in garrison, TDY, and deployed settings.
• Document work in Military EHR and HP databases.
• Ensure training and compliance with required certifications.
