Job summary

KBR seeks a Special Operations Performance Dietitian at JFKSWCS Ft. Bragg, NC to guide nutrition for SOF personnel, optimizing recovery and performance.

You will design programs for garrison, TDY/deployed settings, and collaborate with command and HP teams to implement protocols and improve dining facility nutrition. Requirements include US citizenship, a Secret clearance, a Master’s in Nutrition Science, RD with CSSD, state licensure, 3+ years in a high-level athletic/SOF role, and fluency in

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition Science or related field.
• RD with CSSD certification; CSSD may be waived if other quals met.
• Current state certification/licensure; clinical privileges may be required.
• Minimum 3 years as a Performance Dietitian with athletes/SOF personnel at high levels.
• Fluent English, strong written/spoken communication.
• Ability to meet physical demands, lift up to 25 kg, and travel as needed.
• Maintain Basic Life Support certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition planning, counseling, and documentation guided by evidence.
• Advise command on nutrition and performance nutrition issues.
• Design and implement nutrition programs for SOF personnel in various settings.
• Collaborate with HP program Manager/Coordinator on new protocols.
• Serve as dining facility nutrition advisor and liaison between food service and command.
• Maintain records in military health systems and HP databases.
• Participate in training and mandatory education.
• Contribute to development of training materials and QA functions.
