Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Performance Dietitian in Homestead, FL to support POTFF on the SOCSOUTH contract. This part-time role focuses on nutrition planning and counseling to enhance recovery and optimize performance for SOF personnel in garrison, TDY, and deployed settings.

The role requires a master’s degree in nutrition, RD with CSSD, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain one.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition Science or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with CSSD certification; CSSD must be earned within six months if deferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a Performance Dietitian with athletes at NCAA/Olympic/pro levels.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
• Must be able to lift up to 25 kg and hike in rugged environments.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition planning, counseling, and documentation based on evidence.
• Advise the chain of command on nutrition and performance issues.
• Design and implement performance nutrition programs for SOF personnel.
• Collaborate with HP program Manager on new protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain records in military EHR systems and HP databases.
