Allied Universal is hiring an Elite Security Officer Shop Driver in Austin, TX. This full-time, armed post requires a Level III certification and a valid Texas driver’s license. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service at a retail location with a structured evening schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and restricted locations; verify authorized entry and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
