Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Elite Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX. You will provide exceptional customer service while conducting armed patrols and mobile vehicle checks across a retail site, maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification; you must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Armed security roles require being 21 years or older and the ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff by following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner.
• Help deter theft and unauthorized activity through a visible presence and proactive observation.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and relay information to site leadership and management.

As a Elite Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and other unauthorized activity through a visible presence and proactive observation.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership, law enforcement, and Allied Universal management as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
