Qualifications

Job Description

As a Elite Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and other unauthorized activity through a visible presence and proactive observation.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership, law enforcement, and Allied Universal management as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
