As a Elite Armed Security Officer Full Time in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns with professionalism, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, delivery areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
