United States Naval Academy Business Services Division seeks a Sales Associate to support Brigade Services, delivering excellent customer care while handling sales, inventory, and store operations.

The role involves cashiering, merchandising, and assisting midshipmen with tailoring, laundry, and related services. Scheduling includes 8-hour shifts, with 3-4 weekdays, and Fridays required, in Annapolis, MD.

Qualifications

• Front-facing customer service experience; service industry preferred.
• Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with a cash register or POS system; retail POS experience preferred.
• Ability to resolve problems individually and in a team.
• Experience performing hands-on tasks such as operating crafting/engraving machines and managing service-item intake (laundry, shoes).

Responsabilités

• Provide exemplary customer service to meet daily profitable sales goals, greet customers, upsell, and process transactions.
• Operate POS terminals, verify prices, process sales/returns, protect credit card data, and reconcile daily totals.
• Stock and maintain the sales floor, manage inventory, price items, label SKUs, and coordinate transfers with the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness, train new sales clerks, support safety programs and policy compliance.
• Support EEO policies and accordance with training requirements; assist with scheduling and shift coverage.
