Job summary

Confidential hospitality organization in the Phoenix area is seeking a strategic, outgoing Director of Operations & Sales to oversee a substantial multi-site portfolio and elevate the experience to a premier vacation resort standard.

This executive will manage budgets, drive sales, guide marketing, and ensure exceptional guest services across properties. The role requires about 50% in-office work and 50% in the field, with some remote flexibility and relocation support varying by candidate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive multi-site operations leadership within hospitality environments.
• Exceptional outgoing guest-focused leadership.
• Strong familiarity with hospitality technology and operational tools.
• Proven history of driving P&L performance, budgets, and sales execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight across all portfolio properties with site visits to evaluate operations, guest services, amenities and standards.
• Lead a large operational team, supporting General Managers, Activity Directors, Sales Teams, and F&B leadership.
• Direct property budgets, financial forecasts, revenue and expenses, and hold leadership accountable for financial targets.
• Guide marketing strategy to drive guest traffic and optimize inventory management, lead pipelines and sales conversion.
• Oversee food and beverage operations, bars, live entertainment and guest activities; provide hands-on assistance during peak events.
• Focus first 3–6 months on mastering internal systems, team dynamics, and core objectives ahead of peak season.
