Caviar Club in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to support a premier seafood and luxury dining program. You will prepare mise en place, portion proteins, sauces, and garnishes to ensure smooth service. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years kitchen experience, strong knife skills, and excellent organization.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years kitchen or prep experience preferred.
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic culinary techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes with precision and consistency.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, herbs, fruits, seafood, meats, and other ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Produce sauces, dressings, stocks, and other components with consistency and precision.
• Portion, trim, and organize proteins according to standards.
• Maintain labeling, dating, rotation, and storage using FIFO practices.
• Follow prep lists and complete daily production efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Ensure ingredients are prepared and stocked for service.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and operate equipment safely.
