Job summary

Equinox in Paramus, NJ is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to empower clients through tailored programming, education, and financial planning guidance. You will work under two managers to elevate personal training careers and redefine fitness science and living principles.

Your role includes active client development, scheduling management, and promoting programs to members, both in-person and virtually. Growth is supported through CEU-style education and Tiered pay advancement.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within internal scheduling systems.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products.
• Execute fitness assessments and guided workouts for members.
• Interact with members to enhance workouts and club experience.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
