Job summary

Equinox is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer in New York to develop and deliver personalized training programs for members and clients. Under two managers, you’ll plan education, business, and financial aspects of your PT career to maximize performance and client results.

You’ll build a loyal client base, manage scheduling, and promote training services through calls, emails, and in-person interactions. Opportunities for continuing education and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one (certification reimbursement).
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members.
• Provide fitness assessments and guided workouts.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain a safe, organized fitness floor during shifts.
