Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Team Solitude Coach to mentor athletes across Race, Freeride, All Mountain, or Junior Development programs. You will lead on-snow training, set goals with athletes, provide feedback, and use video analysis to refine technique while prioritizing safety and enjoyment.

You will communicate with athletes, parents, and staff, maintain high safety standards, and participate in coaches’ meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching ski/snowboard athletes at a competitive or development level.
• Ability to lead on-snow training sessions and conduct goal-setting meetings.
• Strong communication with athletes, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily on-snow training sessions for athletes as directed by leadership.
• Lead athlete goal-setting meetings and review progress throughout the season.
• Provide personalized feedback and written year-end evaluations.
• Utilize video analysis to refine techniques and strategies.
• Mentor and train newer coaches and staff members.
• Maintain high safety standards in all training environments.
• Travel to competitions and support on-hill coaching during events.
