Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Team Solitude Supervisor at Solitude Mountain Resort. The role oversees non-competitive seasonal programs, Summer Camp operations, and Mountain Bike Team programming across winter and summer seasons.

You will recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with Ski & Ride School leadership to meet guest experience targets. A strong emphasis on teamwork, staffing efficiency, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in ski/snowboard teams or camp programs preferred.
• Coaching credentials: PSIA Level 1, USSA, or IFSA Level 100 required; Level 2/200 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, onboard, schedule, and supervise a high-performing team of ski & snowboard coaches and Summer Camp counselors.
• Lead staff meetings, trainings, and ensure safety protocols and operating standards.
• Coordinate staffing, payroll, and coaching resources across winter and summer programs.
• Ensure safety, guest satisfaction, and budget considerations are met.
