Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a Head Alpine Race Coach to organize training for coaches and athletes at Solitude Race Team, designing seasonal curriculums and mentoring staff. You will guide athletes aged 8–17 in USSA Alpine disciplines and maintain strong communication with families and coaches to drive high performance.

You will oversee on-snow coaching, safety, equipment and records, while collaborating with teams to optimize competition strategy and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced skiing skills and knowledge.
• Experience coaching for winter sports programs.
• Excellent communication with athletes, parents and staff.
• Ability to mentor coaches and share feedback for development.
• Video analysis sessions with athletes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on training planning for the Race Team.
• On-snow coaching for U10 to FIS athletes.
• Develop weekly and season-long training plans.
• Mentor coaches and assist with athlete groupings.
• Coordinate with competition crew for lanes and venues.
