Job summary

Akima seeks a Maintenance Test Pilot for the MH-47G helicopter to perform MTF, FTF and MOC on customer MH-47G series aircraft. The role involves testing with ground and in-flight diagnostic equipment and maintaining required flight qualifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 1,000 hours PIC, an instrument rating, and AMOC II course completion. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance are required, with travel up to two weeks per trip.

Qualifications

• Qualified in MH-47G or similar MDs.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC time.
• Minimum 100 hours PIC in MH-47G or similar aircraft.
• Minimum 50 hours maintenance test flights on MH-47G.
• Graduate of AMOC II course.
• Must pass a valid FAA/Agency Second Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining a Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel within the US up to two weeks per trip.

Responsibilities

• Perform MTF, FTF and MOC on MH-47G aircraft.
• Operate ground and in-flight diagnostic test equipment.
• Maintain proficiency in rotary-wing flight operations.
• Complete annual flight evaluations by IP and MTFE.
• Ensure ATM tasks required for flight duties are completed.
• Maintain current FAA Second Class Medical and instrument rating.
